Having four children in today’s busy environment is taxing for any family especially when one child has special needs and both parents are working fulltime.
We needed to find a way to ease the load and make sure our children where safe, as after school care and holiday programs are expensive and they wouldn’t accept our daughter.
The best option for us was to get an Au-pair. We have used Au-pairs for a number of years. Whenwe started looking at Au-pairs we tried going it alone through an online program, but it didn’t work out and we wouldn’t advise it as you don’t get the back up support. So we decided to go through an agent who in the end let us down. It was very stressful. We tried various agents but it wasn’t looking good at all that’s when we came across Trisha from Nannies On Demand not only did Trisha have us in contact with a 3 month temp the next day she also managed to find us a 10 month placement which at that time of year was tricky. I have found Trisha to be very prompt and professional to deal with, she is realistic, understands the family environment and also offers good advice and back up support (not that we need it as we have a great Au-pair).
We will continue to use Nannies on Demand and recommend their services to anyone.
