Babysitting Service

Nannies on Demand provide high quality Babysitters to families living in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Russell, Rotorua, & Christchurch on demand.  Babysitters care for children during the evening hours with a Babysitter's duties being very different to that of a Nanny.

Our comprehensive & competitively priced service enables us to offer our clients the following:    

 

• Evening Babysitters - On an individual or shared basis (maximum of two families)
• Overnight Babysitter
• Weddings, corporate/special events also catered for.

• A 'Nannies on Demand' Babysitter holds a current First Aid Certificate and & is guaranteed to provide quality care for your children in your absence.

 

• Our Babysitters  have solid & proven experience in caring for children, with some babysitters being qualified in either childcare, nursing, teaching or midwifery.  Alternatively, they may be parents themselves.  To view associated costs, please visit our Fee Schedule.

 

• ​​Nannies on Demand also provide 'Babysitters' to those families staying in guest accommodation.  On request, our Babysitters can arrive with activities and games to keep your child/ren entertained.  

 

• For those families staying in guest accommodation, In ensuring our Childcare Professionals arrive in good time and their safety is not compromised, it is a Nannies on Demand requirement that all clients staying in guest accommodation, pay for car parking either on-site or close by, should free parking not be readily available to the Childcare Professional.

 

• Nannies on Demand accepts advance bookings.

 

• Last minute bookings will be accepted, however we cannot guarantee that we will have someone available at very short notice.

Our standard booking fee for bookings made within usual office hours of Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm on a per babysitter basis is $20 plus GST.

All bookings for Babysitters made outside of usual office hours, Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm attract a last minute agency booking fee of $23 plus GST.   After Hours - Please call us on 027 367 0603 after hours to place your request.

Our Babysitters commence from 6pm onward, require a minimum of three hours & are paid an hourly rate of $18,  (An earlier start time can be accommodated, with the hourly rate changing to reflect that of a day nanny, which then defaults back to a babysitter rate from 6pm.  

We ask that all international clients pay in cash, both the agency fee & Babysitter's wage, directly to the Babysitter upon completion of their shift.    This may also apply to families who have not used our services before.
